EDA Defence Industry Conference

Organised by the European Defence Agency (EDA), the EDA Defence Industry Conference 2026 focuses on strengthening cooperation, innovation, and resilience within the European Defence Technological and Industrial Base (EDTIB) in response to Europe’s evolving security environment.

The conference will take place on 26 February 2026, from 09:30 to 16:00, in a hybrid format, hosted at the European Parliament premises in Brussels.

Programme Overview

• Opening addresses by EDA senior leadership and the Chair of the European Parliament SEDE Committee
• EDA briefings on:
  • Industry engagement and Industry, Synergies & Enablers (ISE) activities
  • Capability development and armament procurement
  • Research, technology and innovation initiatives relevant to industry
• Panel discussion: Strengthening Cooperation and Interoperability in the European Defence Industry, with contributions from industry representatives, ASD and Members of the European Parliament
• Networking lunch for on-site participants
• Institutional updates from:
  • The European Commission (DG DEFIS) on defence industry matters
  • The European Investment Bank (EIB)
• Keynote address by the European External Action Service (EEAS)
• Panel discussion: Institutional and Industry Efforts to Secure Defence Supply Chains, addressing resilience, cooperation and strategic dependencies
• Concluding remarks by EDA and the SEDE Committee Chair

All sessions will be complemented by interactive Q&A exchanges with participants.
