The FPS Economy, in collaboration with the Belgian Ministry of Defence and the three regional authorities, is organising a national information day on the European Defence Fund (EDF). The event aims to raise awareness among Belgian stakeholders about the opportunities offered by the EDF, in the context of the upcoming EDF 2026 work programme.

The session will provide practical insights into the application process, funding possibilities, and strategic priorities relevant to defence research and innovation.

The infoday will be held in a hybrid format—on-site in Brussels, with online participation also available.

EDF Onsite Matchmaking 2026 - Prague

The Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (AOBP), as a member of the EOA consortium, is organising the EDF Onsite Matchmaking 2026, under the auspices of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic. The event will take place on 17 February 2026, from 13:00 to 17:00 CET, at the DAP Hotel in Prague. This afternoon matchmaking forum is designed to bring together participants from across Europe who are planning to apply for the upcoming European Defence Fund (EDF) 2026 calls. It will provide a valuable platform for forging new partnerships and forming strong international consortia. Czech Industry Day 2026

Organised by the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic (AOBP) in cooperation with enovation and other partners, the Czech Industry Day aims to present the Czech defence and security industrial base to international visitors and potential partners. The event will showcase selected Czech companies and highlight opportunities for cooperation within the European Defence Fund (EDF) and other European and international initiatives. The event will take place on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, from 09:00 to 12:00 CET, at Rustonka – Building R3, Sokolovská 695/115b, 186 00 Prague 8, in the enforum conference centre. Participants will gain an overview of the Czech defence industry landscape, explore collaboration opportunities, and engage in targeted networking and bilateral discussions. EDA Defence Industry Conference

Organised by the European Defence Agency (EDA), the EDA Defence Industry Conference 2026 focuses on strengthening cooperation, innovation, and resilience within the European Defence Technological and Industrial Base (EDTIB) in response to Europe’s evolving security environment. The conference will take place on 26 February 2026, from 09:30 to 16:00, in a hybrid format, hosted at the European Parliament premises in Brussels. DG DEFIS together with ENDR member CARIE and the Cyprus Defence & Space Industry Cluster, invites you to the high-level hybrid forum Battlefield ReDEFINED 2026, held under the framework of the European Network of Defence-related Regions (ENDR). Taking place on 26–27 February 2026 at the Pavilion Hall in Nicosia, Cyprus, the event is organised under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
